Money Matters Client Conference Call

Hosted by Darren Farwell along with Eddy Leung and Leslie McCormick. Guest speaker is Gareth Watson, CFA.  Gareth is the Associate Director and Canadian Equity Specialist on the Portfolio Advisory Team at ScotiaMcLeod. Gareth addresses the following recent concerns in the financial markets:
  • What Sub-Prime Mortgages & Asset Backed Commercial Papers are and how they are affecting your investments
  •  Impact on the economy
  • Investment buying ideas to survive and profit long term from the current uncertainty

Gareth discusses the impact on the board stock market and what to expect going forward.

Please remember that based on long-term fundamentals clients should not panic and pull out based solely on near term direction. The key is to use a disciple strategy over the long-term.
